SALSA TECHNIQUE CLASS:
9-10pm Tuesdays,
9:30-10:30pm Thursdays
- Intermediate Level - $12
Charlene and David will lead through the fundamentals and techniques
of salsa to make you a grounded and powerful dancer. This includes the following:
- Body Movement/Isolation drills
- Stretching/Strengthening drills
- Spinning Techniques and drills
- Proper technique of the arms, hands, &
feet
- Footwork
- Partnering Patterns
- Proper Partner Connection
- Musicality
CHOREOGRAPHY
CLASS/PRACTICE:
10-11:30pm Tuesdays, 10:30-12am Thursdays
- Intermediate/Advanced Level - $15
This is the
regular practice time for Charlene Rose Dance Company, so you will work on learning at a fast pace because you will be learning
choreography that the team has already learned and has been working on, and possibly new choreography as well. This class
caters more to those that want a challenge. Charlene and David focus more on the Intermediate Team on Tuesdays and the Semi-Pro
Team on Thursdays, so gauge your level as to which day would be more suitable for you, or you can do both if you want to learn
both routines!
Partner suggested, but not required.
Liability and Privacy Waiver required at first attendance.
Attire:
Comfortable clothing that you can move in. Bring both flats(tennis or dance sneakers), and dance shoes(heels
for the ladies). Bring bottled water and a change of shirt if necessary too!
